According to the EPA, the average American produces about 1600 lbs. of waste per year. At Valley Art Workshop we are committed to living lightly on the Earth. We believe in leaving a legacy of beautiful relationships, ideas, and art - not an unseen but very real mountain of garbage. Director Miles Lewis has been organizing information on how to take this into your hands and easily remove yourself from the depths of the waste stream. You'll learn how you can prepare yourself for a much cleaner life in just one hour. Join us in beautifying our community.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. THIS PRESENTATION IS NOT JUST ANOTHER EXPLANATION OF HOW TO BE A BETTER RECYCLER. IT'S ABOUT REFUSING, REDUCING, REUSING, AND COMPOSTING, WITH RECYCLING AS A LAST DITCH RESOURCE.
  2. IF YOU PLAN ON COMING, Please register ASAP. This way we can be sure to make enough quiche! :).
